Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briem is a Icelandic actress. Her best-known work is the role of Jane Seymour, the young woman who will become the 3rd queen of Henry VIII on the television drama The Tudors. Her acting career started in the National Theater Iceland when she was a young girl of nine. As a kid, she was an actor in Iceland and was a part of radio and television plays. Briem moved from Iceland to London when she was 16 which is where she took part in a theater production called Lenin's Love. Briem 19 years old, she was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. There she studied during three academic years. Briem earned her degree in Drama and won the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. The actor was part of many productions during his time at RADA, such as The Cherry Garden directed by Anton Chekhov or Bernarda Alba's House written by Federico Garcia Lorca. Briem was a theater actor in London after graduation, starring as a ch
